Surprise: Unusual DVD.

So for the most part today was unsurprising. It can be hard to be surprised when you spend 90% of a 13-hour day in the same classroom. Venturing out for the minimum things necessary to get through 13 hours, food, water, caffeine, bathrooms, etc.

You can however be surprised by some very simple things in these cases. Take for example, I am showing DVD menus to my DVD Authoring class and I stick in the Spiderman DVD. I take a look at the main menu and "Surprise" it is doing something that all the books that I have read on DVDs lead me to believe was impossible. At this point you are probably thinking, "Whoopee!" With this menu, you see "Cool, Spiderman." I see, "That's freakin' sweet, how did they do that?" Well, welcome to the "World of Nerd."

This "World of Nerd," may be why I have a hard time seeing/hearing God. Anytime something happens, I think I automatically go into nerd mode to try to explain it.

So now it is off to find a web site that tells me how this DVD "Surprise" was done.
